Saturday, December 5th (tomorrow!), I’ll be in Galesburg, IL at the 40th Annual Carl Sandburg College Christmas Craft Show! Won’t you come by and say hello? It’s from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and rumor has it that there will be breakfast with Santa, a silent auction, and a food drive for the local food pantry as well. I think it’s going to be a fun day!
If you are closer to Bloomington, IL than Galesburg, you can still get into the Christmas spirit with crafty goodness at Natural Pathways. Although I won’t be there personally, lots of little hootie owls, wristlets, and other Anodyne Design goodies are there. I am sharing a space with YellowDragonfly Designs, and there are other crafters there as well! As if that weren’t enough, you can also relax with chair massages, reiki, and intuitive readings. This event is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. this weekend and the next two weekends (through December 20th)!
Even if you aren’t in the area, are you finding ways to incorporate local and handmade goodness into your holidays? I hope so, and I would love to hear about it!
