I was pretty excited about the coming of April. Surely, that would mean the end of the crazy winter weather we’ve had hanging around and a return of green grass, balmy breezes, and sunny days. Yeah, right. The weather this year has been such a tease. The day we moved in February it was in the sixties. Today, it’s below freezing. And when I opened my window this morning, I found over an inch of snow on the ground. It was not a pleasant surprise.

I went out to take a picture of the snow to share, but instead, you’re getting these little flowers that are starting to blossom on the trees. They weren’t expecting snow either. And frankly, I’d rather focus on them, instead of the cold, white ground below.
