Oops! The regular posting disappeared for a few days on Anodyne Design. Sorry about that. I guess life catches up with all of us now and then. In the meanwhile, I’ve finished a few projects and I’m getting ready to share a new feature on the site, so the posts should be back on track, and interesting, this week.
Steve over at Pretty Somethings asked that I pass along word of a competition he’s part of called Hand-making Heroes. It’s designed to “support small hand-making businesses and to encourage craftspeople to ditch the 9 to 5 drudgery and pursue their handicraft passion.” It looks like this competition is limited to people in the UK, and you need to be able to commit to making multiples of your craft. But if you’re serious about making your handmade business work, this may be worth a try. You can get all the details here.
